 Summer Sun, Sacred Repair

August 23 - 25, 2019 • Shilo Farm Eco Lodge, Eliot Maine

We are heading to Shilo Farm in Eliot, Maine for some real down-to-earth woman time. Join me and Erica Nunnally for a weekend of joy and healing for women ages 45 and older. It’s so so important to gather and share in small circles at every stage of life. So if you haven’t gathered in circle with a bunch of like minded women in a while, now’s the time. Circles are inherently magical; and to gather in one is a tremendous medicine that can help ground you and remind you that you aren’t “crazy”…or maybe that you are and that’s okay, too.

This weekend will include daily yoga, most meals, leisure time at the beach, paddleboarding, enriching time with supportive herbs, a power-filled ceremony for balance and healing, and a healthy dose of fun! Space is limited to 11 weekenders and 8 daytrippers, so we recommend reserving your space early.

Please note: Deposits are strictly non-refundable, however you may transfer it to apply toward a friend who will be coming in your stead. Payment must be made in full by Aug 5th. No refunds are granted after August 5th. We suggest that if something arises that will prevent you from attending, please either gift or sell your space on the retreat to a friend.

Retreat Costs

You can join this weekend as a DAYTRIPPER (those who will commute and have accommodations off site) or as an overnight WEEKENDER (those who wish to sleep at Shilo Farm). Either way, plan to arrive at our retreat space between 4:00p and 6:00p Friday, August 23rd. Your weekend will conclude with a closing ceremony on Sunday for a 1:00p departure. Space is limited to 11 weekenders and 7 day trippers, so we do recommend reserving your space early. To reserve your space, please click on the BOOKING YOUR RETREAT button below. This will take you to Erica’s website for payment.

About Sacred Repair

As humans we house within us a number of archetypes: Maiden, Warrior, Victim, Teacher, Child, etc. Archetypes are not necessarily gender, age, or even vocation specific, but rather unique characteristics or aspects of your whole self. For example, I am frequently working with my Warrior, Maiden, and Crone to keep my Shadow Sister in a healthy space. My point is you don’t need to be a healer, a teacher, a mother, an amazon, or a prostitute to have these archetypes within your healthy make up.

Sacred Repair provides a safe container for you to work with your archetypes to bring balance and healing to your whole self. Sacred Repair invites you to step into your archetypal role of Healer and begin to repair wounds within your archetypal make up whether the wounding stems from your personal landscape or the world landscape. Personal wounds and imbalances might show up in your dialogue:

“I don’t know who I am now?”

“I’m not sure I’m capable…”

“When I finish…, I’ll finally get to…”

“I’m so busy. I can’t even…”

“My family/my children/my partner/my job/my friends expect…”

“I’m struggling. But no one wants to hear…”

You are many things to many people — and that’s just “at home”. On the world landscape, stories that demand your attention/action/compassion/support begin unfolding before they’ve even met their conclusion. In this way, like it our not, you become part of every hurt that unfolds — each incident leaving an indelible mark on your being. It would seem…together we are wounded, but together we can heal.

Sacred Repair is a purposeful act of defiance to mend the sacred within. Sacred Repair is the necessary and potent reminder that you are deserving of the time it takes to process and heal and most importantly, you are held and you are not alone.

This self-healing experience is held in sacred ceremony and touches on the five elements — earth, fire, water, air, and space/ether. Sacred Repair will include:

  • Storytelling led by Erica to frame our work (Earth)

  • Asana practice for awakening (Fire)

  • Reiki circle for soothing (Water)

  • Medicine drum sound healing to invigorate and expand (Air)

  • Meditation, journalling and tonic/cacao* ceremony for divine connection (Space/Ether)

*The ingestibles we share during this ceremony have NO hallucinatory effects, these are healing offerings and all ingredients will be revealed. We provide either a specially blended herbal tonic or cacao depending on what’s available and what feels energetically most potent at the time of our healing. All of our offerings are sustainably sourced, often hand-picked, and always the purest gift from Mother Earth we can gather. Keep in mind, gifts from Mother Earth shift with the seasons, so each Sacred Repair blend is wild crafted and will be unique. We will make every effort to share via social media and emails to those pre-registered what our blend will be when we craft it.

About Shilo Farm

Shilo Farm is dedicated to creating a sanctuary for community to thrive. Shilo Farm is also a micro farm/homestead that cultivates medicinal plants, herbs and food following permaculture principles of land management. Elderberries are our specialty.  We have a small, but growing herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats; with the goal of making goat cheese, offering raw goat milk and soap. We raise organic and free range heritage breed chickens for their eggs and have two rescue cats and a 125 pound Livestock Guardian dog called Shasta.  Our property consists of 6 acres of woodland and edible gardens landscapes. We are located in Eliot, Maine and are a mere four miles from Historic Portsmouth, NH.

Over the years, Shilo Farm powerfully community heals, nourishes and enlivens everything and everyone it touches.
